Laying a Spiritual and Strategic Foundation

Before the first song is sung or the first chair is set, there’s work to do. The most important part of launching a faith community happens long before the first gathering.

It starts with prayer, with walking the streets, with listening — really listening — to the stories of the people around you. “Unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labor in vain” (Psalm 127:1).

Healthy roots lead to lasting fruit. Vision, relationships, and spiritual preparation matter more than hype or numbers.

Call to Action: If you’re sensing a call to plant or pioneer, begin this week with prayer walks and conversations. Lay the foundation before you set the chairs.
