Our goal is to create a faith community that no one wants to leave…..and our volunteers are a BIG part of that!
Why Serving Matters in a Community of Faith
At Reframe Community, we believe that serving is not just something we do — it’s part of who we are. When we follow Jesus, we’re invited into a life that looks beyond ourselves and into the needs, hopes, and stories of others. Serving isn’t about filling a slot or completing a task; it’s about love in action. It’s how faith takes on skin and bones.
Serving Reflects the Heart of Jesus
Jesus said He came “not to be served, but to serve” (Mark 10:45). When we serve, we’re walking in His footsteps. We mirror His compassion, His humility, and His commitment to the good of others. Every time we offer our time, our skills, or even just a listening ear, we make the invisible Kingdom of God visible.
Serving Builds True Community
A community of faith grows stronger when every person brings their unique gifts to the table. Serving connects us. It helps us move from being strangers who share a space to being family who share life. As we serve side-by-side, we learn each other’s stories, celebrate each other’s victories, and carry each other’s burdens.
Serving Shapes Our Hearts
Serving changes us from the inside out. It teaches us to see through the eyes of others, to live with gratitude, and to trust God’s provision. It draws us out of self-focus and reminds us that life is richest when it’s given away.
Serving Makes a Difference in the World
Every act of service — big or small — ripples beyond what we can see. It might be a meal delivered, a prayer whispered, a hand extended, or a word of encouragement spoken. In God’s hands, even the smallest act can become a seed of hope that grows into something far greater.
At Reframe Community, serving is not a requirement to belong — it’s a natural expression of belonging. It’s what happens when love overflows. Whether in our gatherings, in our neighborhoods, or in our everyday lives, we believe serving is one of the clearest ways to say, “God’s love is here.”
Come find your place to serve. Not because you have to, but because together, we get to be part of God’s redeeming work in the world.
