The Discipline of Biblical Meditation

Chewing on the Word

Psalm 1 describes the person who delights in God’s Word and meditates on it day and night. Biblical meditation isn’t about emptying your mind - it’s about filling it with God’s truth and “chewing” on it until it sinks in.

But here’s the challenge: you can’t meditate with a cluttered, stressed-out mind. It needs margin - time and space for God’s Word to settle in your heart.

Call to Action: Select one verse this week and meditate on it daily. Keep it visible and revisit it throughout the day, pondering it like a treasured gem.
