Becoming Like a Child

When the disciples asked, “Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?” Jesus brought a child into their midst and said, “Whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest.” (Matthew 18:4)

This wasn’t about innocent curiosity - it was a bid for power and prestige. Jesus’ answer was shocking: greatness in His kingdom is measured by humility, not status.

Call to Action: What “status markers” are you holding onto? Ask God to help you prioritize childlike humility over status or recognition.
