Fixing Our Eyes on Jesus

Hebrews 12:2 urges us: "Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith…"

To “fix our eyes” means to focus solely, turning away from distractions, and then to imitate what we see. Jesus modeled perfect trust and surrender - from Bethlehem’s manger to the cross.

We are to live, decide, obey, and please the Father as He did. The result? Over time, our lives naturally become more selfless and Christlike.
