God Will Not Adjust His Agenda

Keeping Step with Him

One of the most sobering truths in Scripture is that God will not adjust His pace to match ours.

  • He won’t accelerate to keep up with us.

  • He won’t raise his voice over the noise of our schedules.

  • He won’t “fit in” with the cracks of our calendar.

If we want to walk with Him, we need to match His pace.

In Amos 3:3, we read, "Can two walk together unless they agree to do so?" Agreement with God involves slowing down, listening, and aligning our priorities with His.

If you feel distant from Him, it’s not because He moved - it’s because we have. The call is to return, to walk closely, and to let His presence be a natural part of every day, not just during Sunday worship or special events.

Call to Action: Schedule a 15-minute “uninterrupted God time” tomorrow - no phone, no noise, just quiet presence before Him.
