Humility Means You Don’t Need the Credit

Remember the old cartoon Underdog? He was a superhero but also worked as a humble shoe-shine boy. He didn’t care about getting credit - the work mattered more than recognition.

That’s a picture of humility. It means accepting that you might not receive all the credit you deserve - and being okay with that.

Today, many people approach God like a business deal: “I’ll make much of You, God, if You make much of me.” But God doesn’t operate on the principle of exchange. His kingdom is founded on humility and dependence, not bargaining.

Call to Action: Ask yourself, “Do I serve God for His glory alone, or am I hoping for my own recognition?”
