Learning from Elijah’s Solitude
In 1 Kings 19, Elijah experienced God’s presence not in wind, earthquake, or fire, but in a gentle whisper. God spoke audibly to Elijah, but for us today, the Spirit works through the Word we already have.
We are not prophets bringing new revelations - everything we need is in the 66 books of Scripture. But as we spend time alone, the Holy Spirit uses our experiences and His Word to shape our thinking and renew our hearts.
Call to Action: Read 1 Kings 19:9–13. Ask God to use His Word to speak to your heart as you practice silence this week.
