The Toughest Discipline — Surrender
Philippians 3:10 reminds us: "[For my determined purpose is] that I may know Him… and so share His sufferings as to be continually transformed into His likeness."
Over the past few weeks, we’ve discussed disciplines that guide us toward this goal. Today’s is the most difficult: surrender - letting go of control in every part of life.
When many people think about becoming a Christian, they view it as a one-time event: ask Jesus into your heart, receive forgiveness, and you’re done. But Scripture calls us not just to accept salvation, but to live in daily surrender.
Surrender isn’t just a one-time act - it’s a continuous decision to trust God more than ourselves.
Call to Action: Ask God to reveal one area where you’re still holding tightly, and take the first step toward letting it go to Him.
