Making Space for Doubt

Faith isn’t the absence of doubt — it’s trusting God in the midst of it.

When churches create safe spaces for questions, they give people permission to wrestle honestly with God. That kind of space builds resilient faith. “I do believe; help me overcome my unbelief!” (Mark 9:24).

The opposite — shaming or silencing doubt — drives people away. But when doubt is met with grace, it often becomes the doorway to deeper belief.

Call to Action: Invite questions in your community. Ask, “What doubts are you wrestling with?” and hold space without rushing to fix.
